1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how FantasyGPT and Fantasy Football Nerds collect, use, store, and share information when you use FantasyGPT at fantasygpt.org.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information such as username, email address, and account status when you register through Fantasy Football Nerds.
- Authentication and billing metadata such as subscription tier, subscription status, Stripe customer identifiers, and Stripe subscription identifiers.
- Conversation content. Free-tier chat history is primarily stored in your browser. Paid tiers may store conversation content on FantasyGPT servers to support continuity features.
- Connected league data when you choose to connect a fantasy platform, including league identifiers, team names, rosters, scoring settings, matchup data, waiver/FAAB state, and provider sync metadata.
- Yahoo Fantasy authorization data when you choose to sign in with Yahoo, including encrypted access and refresh tokens and non-secret authorization status needed to keep your league connection working.
- Technical and security data such as IP address, request metadata, browser data, cookies, rate-limit events, and diagnostic logs.
- Analytics and telemetry data collected through Google Analytics, Plausible, and Sentry.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate FantasyGPT and authenticate your account.
- To process subscriptions, billing, and account entitlements.
- To generate AI responses to your prompts, including grounding lineup, waiver, trade, roster, and matchup answers in your connected league context when you opt in.
- To prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, investigate errors, and keep the service secure.
- To measure product usage and improve the service.
4. AI Processing and Third Parties
FantasyGPT sends prompt and conversation data needed to answer your requests to third-party AI providers and routing infrastructure. Depending on the active configuration, that may include OpenRouter and underlying providers such as DeepSeek, Anthropic, and Google.
We also use third-party providers for billing, analytics, and monitoring, including Stripe, Google Analytics, Plausible, and Sentry. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Connected league features use provider APIs. Sleeper league lookup uses Sleeper's public fantasy football API. Yahoo league lookup uses Yahoo OAuth and Yahoo Fantasy Sports APIs after you authorize FantasyGPT. Yahoo Fantasy data shown in the product is attributed as required by Yahoo.
5. Storage and Retention
- Browser-side chat history may be stored in localStorage until you clear it.
- Pro-tier server-side conversation messages are currently deleted automatically after about 2 hours.
- Elite conversation history may be retained for a longer period to support account features and continuity.
- Connected league context may be cached so FantasyGPT can answer from your roster, scoring settings, matchup, and waiver state. Roster/settings and matchup data use separate refresh windows.
- Yahoo OAuth tokens are stored encrypted per user and are removed when you remove Yahoo authorization from FantasyGPT.
- Account, billing, and security records may be retained as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
FantasyGPT uses cookies and similar browser storage for authentication, client preferences, analytics, and chat features. You can control some of these through your browser settings, but disabling them may limit product functionality.
7. Your Choices
- You can clear browser-side chat history by removing site data from your browser or using in-product history controls where available.
- You can disconnect an active Sleeper or Yahoo league from the chat interface. For Yahoo, you can also remove FantasyGPT's Yahoo authorization, which deletes the stored Yahoo token for your FantasyGPT account.
- You can manage your subscription through the billing tools provided in your account when available.
- You can contact us through Fantasy Football Nerds support channels with privacy or account questions.
For current billing, cancellation, refund, and account-deletion procedures, see Billing & Account Help. For product-process disclosure, see AI Disclosure.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date on this page.
